I received a new passport only a couple of years ago at the US Embassy in Beijing with no problem, and as far as I know have not officially been declared an “enemy of the state” yet. However, some of my writing may have displeased some of high and mighty… none-the-less, the work continues as time permits.

Incidentally, this site, and all my sites are financed entirely by myself, however I have not been able to work (and get paid!) since the two semesters I taught public schools in the far northern Isan Region of North Thailand (2021-2022). At this time, donations are required to continue this work, pay subscription fees to maintain this and other internet sites, and eat.
